Skilled Labourer/Carpenter’s Apprentice – Elliott Mumford Contracting

Job Description

Responsible for reporting to lead hands and journeymen on site for tasks relating to the install and clean up of various materials on commercial and residential structures. Based out of Kamloops B.C. the shift for this position will be 7:00am-5:30pm 3 weeks on 1 week off with overtime paid over 40 hours weekly, shift schedule may be subject to change based on site requirements.

Skilled Labourers/Carpenter’s Apprentices will be expected to perform some or all of these duties:

Read Blueprints with assistance from Journeymen
Complete jobs in specified timelines with assistance from Journeyman and Leads
Measure cut and install wood, drywall, siding, concrete forms and other materials
Work according to safe work procedures
Keep Work site clean
Move materials for Journeymen as needed

Experience: Ticketed or unticketed Carpenters with 3 years or more of construction experience welcome to apply.
